thanks to all of you who have posted info and directions on the white spacer and the jardine pipe. ive had my 97 savage for 2 years now and couldnt stand the backfiring and the sound the stock pipe made(kindof like a volkswagon bug whistle). i tried to adjust the sound by punching out the baffles which only made things worse...now it sounded like a really loud lawnmower with an exhaust leak....lol. i found this great site and my bike now looks, sounds, and performs much better. still has popping now and then but i think it just needs a little more mixture adjusting. even with the little bit of popping left, with the sound of the jardine..its no big deal. thank you again adn keep up the great info.
